Memories of Yesterday: Studying Hiragana and Katakana

Wednesday, February 20, 2008

Last Monday, my boss asked us to study Hiragana. He told us to study it after lunch and we had to know the whole alphabet by 5pm. So we only had 4 hours. It was unsuccessful though. He was a bit disappointed that he told us that we should know both Hiragana and Katakana the next day.

I felt that I couldn't make it. I stayed up late just to know everything I could. To make everything short. I can now write Hiragana and Katakana after a day of practicing it.

So here's my japanese name...

he i shi ru da ya n ta n

I am so proud of myself! haha

A Lazy Day

It's Wednesday and I am feeling so lazy. I still have a hangover of yesterdays' exam. I woke up at around 6 in the morning. I thought it was only 3am because it was very dark outside. I look at my cellphone and check the time. It was the time that I should get out of the bed. My body is being pulled by my bed and I don't want to get up but I have to. The Katakana and Hiragana kept playing inside my head and suddenly, my phone vibrated and had a little exchange of messages from my friend, Ian.

I told myself "get up! get up! you're going to be late.." After a couple of minutes, I have finally decided to go down and have my breakfast. After breakfast, I hurriedly get into the shower and went to the office. (nakakaboring and nakakatamad bumangon sa umaga noh?)

Wee, I wasn't late for work. I was even early by 5 minutes. Good for me! My officemates and I had our coffee at Figaro and bought our sandwiches and McDonalds. After that, I studied, read, and memorized some of the important terms in PeopleSoft. I lost my feeling of reading and wanting to learn when my boss asked me to join him and my other officemates to go somewhere. Err.. so when I went back to the office I am writing this on a piece of paper so when I get home all I have to do is to type everything.

So much about being bored at work. Till my next free time! Ciao!

I Miss Blogging...

As I am looking at the upper right calendar of my blog. I felt that I am too busy these past few days or even weeks that I am not able to write here. I know I am just writing nonsense things but I love to post about my ideas and feelings.

I hope that you guys would bear with me. Thank you for taking time to read my blog. *hugs*

Alone

Have you ever feel alone with no one to talk to or no one to share your problems with? I happen to experience this today. It feels lonely and I've been crying for no reason at all. I tried to focus my attention to different things but I don't know why this feeling keeps affecting my daily activities. *sigh*

I wanted to have an imaginary friend, whom I can share my feelings with and my personal experiences. At least he or she will never get sick and tired of me. But I am too old for those kind of things. Err.. Writing this in my blog makes me feel a lot better but talking to a real person makes a big difference. I wish I could have a new friend, a friend whom I can share everything with. The one who will never get tired of listening to me. One I could trust and share my secrets with. Oh, I miss my old friends... but they're too busy now with work or with their personal lives.

Life is short, I know I should be enjoying every single second of it but going through every day's challenges with someone feels a lot better than taking everything alone.

Sad Sunday

Sunday, February 17, 2008

I've spent my almost whole day crying. I wanted to cheer myself up. I wanted to be a strong person but I'm not. All I can do is pretend that everythings' fine.

I miss him a lot.
Am I loving him too much? Do I need to give him space for me to adjust to what he wants? I wanted him to be happy but the things that he wants me to do is not just me. Its like his happiness or my happiness. I'd pick his.

I am having a headache since I woke up and I tried to ignore it. I just it won't get worse. I am tired of loving. I am tired of myself. I wanted to be happy.

I wish that when i wake up tomorrow, I'd feel much better...

Far Away

Far Away
By: Nickleback

This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know, you know, you know

That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
And you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore

On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know, you know, you know

So far away
(So far away)
Been far away for far too long
So far away
(So far away)
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know

I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
(Keep breathing)
Hold on to me and, never let me go
(Keep breathing)
Hold on to me and, never let me go

My Colored Nails

I was having a boring day yesterday and I've decided to change the color of my nails. While I was watching lifestyle network last sunday, I am amazed by the girls' blue nails so when I went to Hortaleza yesterday I look for the blue one. Hooray! I saw the perfect color blue and I saw color violet. I bought them and hurriedly when back home.

Anyway, here's the picture of my nails...

Weird eh?! I find it cute hahaha! Till next crazy nail adventure!

Apologize

Apologize
by: One Republic

I'm holding on your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground
And I'm hearing what you say
But I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down
But wait...
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around and say..

That it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall, take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
(But that's nothing new)
Yeah yeah

I loved you with a fire red, now it's turning blue
And you say
Sorry like the angel heaven let me think was you
But I'm afraid

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
Woahooo woah

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, a yeah

I'm holding on your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground

One Tiring Week

I had a week of loads of things to do and to think of. Almost every spare time, my team mates and I were planning where to go and where to eat last friday. It has been a tradition in the company that the new hires treats the other employees. So our team talked about our budget and think of what to do.

I was also busy helping my bestfriend with her problem. I actually don't want to get involved but they keep dragging me into it. I feel so tired and lonely. I wanted to stay home, remove my brain to stop thinking and remove my heart to stop beating. I am missing him badly.

Last January, my boyfriend asked me out for February 15 (UP Fair). I am very excited about it but got disappointed when he told me that I am not going with him but he'll still go. I wanted to be with him badly. So I decided to go to his place.

Friday was very tiring. In the morning, we've been planning for the lunch out for the whole PeopleSoft Division. We went to Market Market and ate at Hap Chan. Hap Chan is our Managers' favorite resto and so we have no choice but to eat there. I am happy that our team satisfied their food cravings. After that, we walked around market market. When we were on the way back to the office. I saw lots of people walking around. Uh-oh, its the Makati rally! When the time came that we were about to go home, I was looking for public vehicles so that I could arrive at my boyfriends' place as early as I can. Too bad, that I had to walk from Paseo de Roxas to Gil Puyat. While walking there, I felt like I am in an abandoned city where there was no people around. I mean there were few people walking down the streets. There's no public vehicles, only the private ones. When I saw a bus rushing at Gil Puyat, I hurriedly rode the bus. There were a lot of people rushing to the bus and luckily, I was one of the few who successfully entered the bus. haha! When I got to buendia, I hurriedly went to pasay rotonda to ride a van going to Cavite. Err.. there were a lot of abusive policemen who threatens these fx drivers. So the passengers were hidding just so they could get home. We were all like criminals hiding and running. Haha! (what an experience! these abusive policemen is asking for 150 thousand pesos from these drivers! what a shame!) Well, I came to his place even though I feel so tired already. We ate our dinner together and spend time together. At 12 midnight, we rode a van going back to my place. After walking me home, HE WENT TO THE UP FAIR. I didn't want him to go. If he's going, I wanted to go too but he doesn't like that idea. Well, I couldn't stop him anyway, I went home at around 7am in the morning.

I felt like my efforts are worthless. I went to his place because I wanted to be with him and that if he's going to the UP fair.. I wanted to go too. I am feeling so sad and tired too...

My Valentines Day

Saturday, February 16, 2008

I thought that my valentines would be sad and lonely this year. My boyfriend went to Makati last Thursday and we both rode a bus together. It was fun ( i miss those moments.) although the bus was so crowded. We went to Robinsons Place Ermita and saw a couple of friends. (oh, its good to see friends and I miss them a lot.) We ate our dinner afterwards then watched a movie. Robinsons Place is very near our house so to spend more time together, he walked me home. Haaay! Sobrang namiss ko sya. How I wish I could be with him always.

Meal of the day: Chicken Salpicao

Sunday, February 10, 2008

Last January 29, My boyfriend paid a visit to my house. He fixed my computer and in return, I cooked lunch for him. At first, I was having a hard time thinking what to cook because I wanted it to become special. After a long thinking, I came up with Chicken Salpicao. Its a dish I've never cooked before thats why its a bit risky. Good thing that he loved it.

Here's a picture of my Chicken Salpicao:

I am so glad that he loved this dish because I made it with love. (naks! haha!)

Note: Sorry for the late post of this.

Baking Injury

Last Sunday (February 3), My aunt paid a visit. We spent time chatting and watching television together. We spend time with her as much as we could because she'll be leaving on February 18. She be going home to Norway and she might not come back any sooner.

She wants to learn how to make cookies. I excitedly showed her how I do it and I gave her my recipe. Well, the cookies turned out to be great but as I am in a hurry in making them, my arm accidentally got near to the hot tray. It hurts a lot and I'm scared that it might turn into a scar.

Here's a picture:
Right now, its on the healing process. I hope that it will not leave a scar. So much for being excited in baking.

No One

No One
By: Alicia Keys

I just want you close
Where you can stay forever
You can be sure
That it will only get better

You and me together
Through the days and nights
I don't worry 'cause
Everything's going to be alright
People keep talking they can say what they like
But all i know is everything's going to be alright

No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you
Can get in the way of what I feel for you

When the rain is pouring down
And my heart is hurting
You will always be around
This I know for certain

You and me together
Through the days and nights
I don't worry 'cause
Everything's going to be alright
People keep talking they can say what they like
But all i know is everything's going to be alright

No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you
Can get in the way of what I feel

I know some people search the world
To find something like what we have
I know people will try try to divide something so real
So till the end of time I'm telling you there ain't no one

No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you
Can get in the way of what I feel for you

oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

Meal of the Day: Califlower, Mushrooms and Pork with Special Sauce

Its Sunday and I had a hell of a week last week. I am very tired from work and so I woke up late today around 9am. My mom told me that my aunt will be arriving soon so Ryan and I have to cook. Ryan made his delicious spaghetti and I cooked mixed vegetables - cauliflower, mushrooms and pork with a special sauce I made.

Here's the dish I cooked:

Cauliflower, mushrooms and pork with special sauce

My family loved this. hehe! I had to think of something different because my mom always buys cauliflower. I don't want to bake it anymore so I came up with this. Good thing, the flavors of the ingredients came out. Till next time! Ciao!

Busy Mode

Hello guys! Sorry for being busy lately. I've been wanting to post a lot of stuff here but I had my first day at work yesterday and been busy in a lot of stuffs.

Yesterday was exciting yet tiring. I've met my new team mates -- Lian, Jasper,Patrick and Gina. They're all nice except for Gina. I think she's a little bitchy. (waaah! sorry but i can't help but to notice) Well, she's been flirting with our trainers. (oh well.. none of my business!) Anyway, the whole morning we were answering our info's for the insurance, company profile, etc. We had a tour around the company. They were all so nice and friendly. We even met the President to personally welcome us.

At lunch time, I had a lunch date with my bestfriend, Lyn and with my highschool and college friend (and classmate), Gerry. We our lunch together and had our discussion with our former classmates. After that, I hurriedly went back to the office because I have to attend the orientation at 1:30pm but unfortunately it was canceled because everyone is busy preparing for the Company Kickoff and the sad part was we were waiting like crazy and they just told us that the orientation was canceled at around 3pm? haha! So much fun eh?

The company kickoff was nice it was held at Cravings, few blocks away from the office. We discussed about the years budget, about last year --if the company met their aims. There were also pictures and videos about the last years' activity. I think I'll be having so much fun here. I was amazed that the HR department had a dance number. I think it was cute! Miss Jen, the HR who always assists me, was lifted while dancing. (ooh! I could just imagine how much her weight is.. haha! I think she's in 150lbs?!)

Anyway, my first day was okay.. and I hope that I'll be having more fun together with my team mates.
